Cause there are some damn good deals on ebay for lilliput monitors!!

$150ish CDN for a 7.2" monitor, I have read about them on www.mp3car.com and they have good reviews.

What do you guys think?

Bad part is its from hong kong.....

I've heard good and bad things about Lilliput, but not the model you are talking about. Most of the guys at MP3 Car use the VGA version with the touchsccreen. For the most part, the pro's weigh out the con's..I think they come in good batches and bad ones. But I wouldn't buy from Honk Kong...anything goes wrong and you have to ship it back...better off buying a new one.

thats not a bad price, but they are STN monitors not TFT. the biggest difference between STN and TFT is the viewing angle. a TFT screen has a viewing angle of L/R 60 degree; Up 15 degree; Down 25 degree, while a STN has less than 15 degree in all direction. also the color is different, the color of a TFT is sharp, bright and real. i read somewhere they called TFT true color and STN false color.
