88-94 cavalier qforms, anyone have experience??

hey,

just wondering if anyone had any experience installing or owning qforms for the 88-94 Cavalier...

mostly, if they will get in the way of the clutch. nowhere around me stocks them so i could physically look at them, i'd have to buy from Cardomain.

as far as custom, i dont think i could afford a custom made set and also i dont think i can have my car tied up for too long, so i guess qforms is probably as good as it gets.

thanks!

The Q-forms will not get in the way of your clutch.

You may loose your dead pedal though, like you would with most custom sets of kicks.

The Q-forms are 'engineered' to sound good in your car. The difference in the distance from L & R tweeter to your ears is minimized with Q-forms, this helps SQ plenty.

On a budget, Q-forms are a great way to get better sound in your car over the factory speaker locations.

cool, yeah im a tall guy and like to stretch out a bit i guess either way i'd lose leg room somewhere lol. i like the idea of qforms, but i don't know if my 6.5" mids will fit.. the specs say they'll fit up to 6 1/8" mids so it would be an expensive way to find out

i searched a bit, and it seems i should get better sound from fiberglass kicks than from the ABS plastic right? qforms are quick and easy though for sure. i'm still undecided, but maybe i'd be better off in the long run with a fiberglass set.

thank you for the reply!
