I currently am in the middle of a total redo on my system and want to improve it for sound quality. Right now I have one layer of Brown Bread on the inner skin and about 1 square foot piece on the outer skin behind each driver in the doors (1998 Qcab Ram) The truck is a diesel so it has a little more deadning than a gasser in the carpeted areas I have been told.
Can you please recommend the areas I need to apply more BB in their order of importance . I would like to figure out how much more I need to buy before pulling the guts out again. Thanks in advance.

2 layers over the whole floor, plus 2 layers in the trunk, do 3 layers on the biggest flat areas

Yes, do the entire outer skin. Those doors are like big metal gongs.
