bandwidth specific phase delay

how cool would something like that be for car audio, no doubt it would be fun to test with. say a 5 or 6 band phase delay with fully adjustable bandwidths ,with independant channel control

What for? Last thing a lot of systems need is MORE processing.

for instance, lets say the 4" mid in your kickpanel has a phase issue around 1000hz, hotm 750 or 2000, now being able to adjust that specific area would be nice, you purist make me laugh, keep it in your house not your vehicle

The speaker itself had a phase issue in the middle of it's operating range?

Dood you gotta stop sourcing speakers from London Drugs.

I would think the car/environment would be what had the issue and thus would need the cure. I've always maintained that processing should not be used to mask physical shortcomings in an install. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

But then that's just me

The phase issues are way to out and in general to pinpoint for something like that to work. Using a TEF I have seen a problem at 2000K and then it being mixed at 2100K...............

Fix the vehile and the install before fixing the sound...............
