I have a 2003 saturn Ion.. had my JVC DVD deck installed about a month ago... since then my batt has died 2 times... i boost it... let it run and its fine for a few days then dead again... seems to be dead after sitting for a day or two... now the deck functions fine...however it will not power up when i turn the key to accesory... it has to be "ON" did they **** up my install?

two things your battery is about 4-5yrs old (i would look at a new one)
can you fined why the battery died the 1st time .it may have nothing to do with you install .
your battery may not hold the power to run the deck and amps when the car is not running
