Best Sound Board In GTA?

I've installed a system in my truck with less than stellar results.

Something is seriously not working with this so I'd like to go preview some speakers. I live in Kingston so I've never been to any shops in the GTA but I need to get this thing sorted out.

Great forum btw!

yes, you need 5 posts,

well placement and setup is crucial using high end stuff...Even the low end CDT's have impressed me!!
Maybe the installer did something wrong?

I'm the installer and that was my first idea too. Now I'm starting to have doubts if this could be corrected.

Ahh try different things with your install? Before you go and drop a lot more money when it could just be something resolvable?

That's what I was hoping. Admittedly I don't really know what I'm doing, I'm just winging it. Some expert advice would surely be appretiated. I would like to take it to someone to have a listen and point me in the right direction. Is it possible the amp is damadged just enough to screw with the sq?

5 posts!!!

Try this link for more details of the install. Does it bring to mind any solutions?

**Edit - even with 5 posts you should not link to other forums. Thank you for understanding.**

Get or try a higherend headunit. Those newer Alpines arent that great !

Your speakers and install seem fine.

Really??? I consider this a pretty basic set up and I've never thought of the head unit as the weakest link.

On the other forum, one member suggested that I try switching the phasing one speaker at a time. When I put my ear up to each individual speaker the sound isn't very clean so I'm thinking it has to be something more serious than that.

So, back to my original question. Where's the best place to go to audition a bunch of different speakers in the GTA? I have to have some bad gear somewhere and need to get this sorted out. Is there someone who can listen to what I have and give me some solid advice?
