i watched that video about the guy breakin' his doors (on the site). Correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't steel be the last thing to break on a car? I mean, steel is stronger than anything else on the car, that's kinda why the frame is made of steel. so tell me how the steel door frame cracks before the plexiglass, or the plastic on the dashboard, or any of the other hundred things inside the car, including the wood of the box (if it's made of wood). Plus, the vibrations would probably loosen several bolts before steel actually cracked.

That guy's just an idiot. he probably broke it on sumthin' else, but since he works for adire audio, so it seems, he claims the brahmas did it. hmmmmmmmmm....

apparantly I can get a free ninja camera. did ninja's use camera's?? I didn't think so.

so, if the brahma's can break a car door, then obviously sumehin' like Rockford or sumthin' like that can. I mean, they do have a recorded spl of 172.6, which is higher than the brahma idiot.
LOL!!! You have now earned yourself a free ride in my van... just let me know when you're ready to see if my system is capable of breaking the door

well okay Scottie...
you prove to me that your system will break, fracture or otherwise mutilate the steel in your doors, were talking about the frame here, not the latches bolts hinges anything like that, the frame...
fatigue would do something like that, aging or other-wise faulty materials it would still be difficult to break it...

OK... let me see if I understand this correctly??? If my door broke from fatigue then it doesn't count??? If after the first few burps with the brahma's in when my door flexed so much that it fatigued the metal of the door frame and broke... then that means that the whole thing is a lie???

One 3 second burp.
Breaks on latches and hinges don't count - must be a tear or split on the metal.

How much $$$?
When did anyone say or imply that one burp broke the door??? And if the latches or hinges broke, that wouldn't impress you??? The fact is that the van is an 86 Astro... it's not brand new... I play 56hz at well over 173db on the old termlab mic (currently the 2nd loudest street legal vehicle in the world) You could put a brand new door on it if you wanted... it won't break after one 3 second burp... but it will break very quickly. I guess the 2" wide tear in the sheet metal of the roof don't count either does it??? Or when the bolts holding the side mirror on sheared off, there must be some logical explaination for that too huh???

You guys crack me up... ok... a hypothetical experiment for ya... Take the door off you car and lay it on the ground with the inside facing the down... now place your hands on the part of the door frame that broke on my van... now push down and pull up as hard as you can 56 times per second... now do it again... and again... did it break yet... no... ok... do it some more... eventually it will break, and yes it will break becuase you have pushed up and down so many times that the metal in the door has fatigued and pulled apart. Which is exactly what happened to my door... but if you guys say it cant happen, then I guess you're right since you're the experts and I'm the idiot as stated above

What??

Not to bash you whispers but don't make assumptions when you have no idea what you are talking about.
He does not work for Adire either by the way.

And yes the Brahma is accurate, damn accurate. I have a B15 in my car in a 3.8cuft box tuned to 30hz in my trunk off of an Avionixx 800.2 and it's more accurate than my IDQ 12.
IMO it hits "quick" like a 10 but deep like a 15.

Not to say the Brahma is the only good SQL out their, because their are others.

so what your saying is that if we put several things to the test, to see which one will flex more without breaking, that out of all the things in a van, steel will be the first thing to break? the door must have been a piece of crap then.

nuts and bolts WILL loosen long before steel bends and breaks.

yeah, a free ninja camera, pop ups, they say you can get everything free.

Most ignorant post? ok then, you go break YOUR door by burpin' your system, tape it, and prove to me that a door WILL break before anything else in the car.

Why do you assume that the door frame was the first thing to break? Yes I have broken 2 windsheilds and several interior peices are broken. During a burp a number of items usually end up in the floor - including: miscellaneous screws and washers, the cigarette lighter housing, the ash tray, various door panel parts, and the passenger side dash vent cover. The interior of my van undoubtedly takes a beating... but how much fun is it to watch a video of someones bolts and screws coming loose??? At the time of the video I had no idea that it was going to be veiwed thousands of times over the internet... so all you see is the door breaking. So... so far you have called me an idiot, a liar and said my van is a peice of crap... well, maybe I am an idiot for putting 75,000 watts on 9 sound quality subs in a stock cabin van, but it wins and that really all that matters.
