Cracks getting bigger from sub bass isn't any different then the vibration they receive from driving, hitting bumps, or expanded and contracting as you warm your vehicle and it cools again in winter.

cold to hot is what ended up killing mine...came outside one day for lunch, and there was a crack all the way through the middle of the windsheild.
