Buick Regal
A couple nice vintage pieces in there also.
Oh come now, I think with the sub grill in place it wouldn't be that ugly .
At least with the MDF dash you wouldn't have to worry about those nasty dash resonances.

I kinda felt sorry for Mike, he was getting ripped on pretty bad over on Carsound for changing Dales car. I think he handled it well though. I am sure there are things that any installer does that others cringe at. Of course with unlimited time and money everything can be perfect, but when you are rushing to make a certain show or something corners get cut.
I remember meeting Mike at an IASCA show in Portland in late summer of 97 that Dukk and I took the Avenger down to. Had the Regal and it still had the original dash. He was definitely still new to the whole DIY/competitor thing but the guy sure does try and is passionate about his hobby. The car then had I think 10s or 8s in the kicks, a sub in a custom console (I think, I remember it as being a console he built of some kind) and in the trunk (about 80% finished) were 3 10s facing the back and an equipment rack on the trunk floor. His competition buddy was an older dentist named Bill who had a red SuperCoupe. He did decently well with it too and it wasn't all that flashy of an install. In fact the 2nd install I saw in it was more low-key than the 1st.
