I would recommend a Pioneer, mainly because I've used basically all their mdoels at one point or another, and have had zero problems. Easy to use, sound good, and they look good.
But saying as how it wasn't on your list, I'd say go with an Alpine. It has more than enough features, and sounds good doing it.
If cash isn't a problem, I'd recommend the 9815, simply because it's an awesome deck. But if you're looking for something cheaper, the lower models sound just as good, only with fewer features/options.

no pioneer? always a good buy-decent internal amps and they are easy to use. I noticed you mentioned Rockford Fosgate, a good pick for a simple, easy to use radio that trades in the flash for sound quality. I've hooked up some older customers with Rockford decks and they love them.
