hey whats up? i need some advise i was looking at gettin a pair of new subs but i'm not sure weather to go with an alpine type r or with the jl w3v2? or if anyone has anyother suggestions within the same price range let me know. they will be powered buy a jbl 1200.1 amp

I would say....go w3 over type R.

why buy to subs when you can buy one really good one. wont take your trunk over and find a sub to run with that much power to it is easy. you might lose at the 3 db with having one sub and that is not noticeable
