there's nothing wrong with having a screen installed out of the drivers view.
and i found that movies ate up the 12 hour days WAY faster than music does. i imagine video games would be awesome too. as the driver i found LISTENING to the movies was better than just music, though a little mix was definately necassary. i think it really comes down to whether you want one or not, there are plenty reasons to justify buying one, and just as many to not buy one

Do you guys know about the power consumption of something like an xbox? I'd be worried about power problems if you're throwing an xbox or ps2 in a car with a couple amps in it already.

I dont know bout tha X-Box, but the ps2 and dreamcast and game cube all run on Direct Current (around 12 volts[and I can only a$$-u-me that X-Box is the same, bassicaly being a P.C., which also runs on D.C.) and like only draws maybe 2 ampers (most likely even less) and rely on a transformer to drop the input voltage from 110 A.C. back down to a low voltage low current D.C.

I have a friend who left his 5" screen and dreamcast on for over 12 hours and didn't have a problem starting his 95 civic with stock battery and charging system, so current draw??? I wouldn't be concerned
