naw that deck should be fine running it. oem decks are pretty resiliant little bastards. i wouldnt be too worried about frying it at all. as for the deck i dunno man, i had a 7897 in my car for a while and i liked it but i started skipping so i traded it up for a 7998 and sofar things have been pretty good no skipping and awesome sound. hey did you get a chance to see the impulse show this weekend?
