i know i'll get bashed 2 hell 4 saying this but.......... the audiobhan awes12p OR awis12p subs are rather well made(ive had the awes12p) subs for years now....and i cant seem to kill em...with clean power...i put one to a wall sockett (bought 3 at the time) and it went for 2 &1/2 min and i gave up!!!!!!!!!!! it is still playing in my buds car!!!! (yes i gave it 2 him!! ) dont get me wrong its not the ultimate sq sub....but on e bay u cant beat the price...if they r still available...and tuff as nails... to a point(price relative) if i need to prove my point i can take a photo of my stock pile of my car audio....it ranges from team rf/serwin vega stroker/to rf . p1's and everything in between......

yeA man my old man has a 15" Audiobahn Immortal in his Astro Van and 1 coil is blown and theres a hole the size of a toonie in it and it still pounds the outa every ricer car he passes by...lol. But unfortunately my ebay account has been stolen and I had to cut off my paypal account because of it. Thats why I'm getting the 2 audiobahns and a box for $100 or the cerwin vega for $30 and i'll just make a box for it.

Have you looked into a new RE SE-10? should only for about 140-ish? Great subs on low coin and 2 of mine hit 140db at 1400 watts. the amount of wattage these subs can take is crazy.

Ended up getting a pair of Kenwood KFC-W3011 12" subs for $100 for the pair brand new with warranty.
Now im trying to figure out which type of box to put them in either a Sealed or Ported Enclosure. Keep in mind this is a bmw and only the tiny handrest in the middle of the rear seat comes down.
Which enclosure do you think would be better?

The last pair of those I saw sounded pretty good in one of the Bassworks prefab dual 12" slot ported box....turned out the volume is just about right for the subs and the tuning worked out well.....

For a temp setup it might fit the bill.....

Im kinda staying away from prefab boxes as I hate how they are tuned, you get the low bass but the high bass tends to be very flappy. I'll build my own box but im just trying to figure out which type of box to go with sealed or ported.
