Do big box stores sell lesser quality items?

I worked for one and the turnover was monsterous, 72 people in one year. Manager or salesperson?

He probably meant that the Big Box employee (average) would be someone working for pocket money, as a 'job' only, while the independant dealer (generalization again) would tend to have some/more vested interest in his/her store (IE owner/operators, family biz, etc).

Career vs. job, perhaps.

Obviously there are always exceptions to every rule, but that does make sense on a basic level.

my management skills are not in question here. the fact is the chain had as hi as 250% turn over in some years. it is a fact.

i would like to know what differntiates say a deh760 from a deh7600
besides price the premier name and warranty

Premier decks have different (more) voltage on the preouts, and usually MORE (for example the Pioneer has 2 while the Premier has 3 or 4, hypothetically) preouts.


There's probably more to it but thats all I know.

It's not always the same upgrades from Pioneer to Premier models, it depends on the model.

In the case of the DEH-P760MP versus the DEH-P7600MP, the upgrades are the two year versus the one year warranty, three mode loudness versus one mode & steering wheel remote versus card remote.

If you can find a Premier model over a Pioneer model for a difference of $30 or less, go for it as the warranty alone is probably worth $40 by itself.
