did you look into the sony mex-1gp the faceplate has 1 gig built into it.

A little late but:

The JVC KDSHX1000 and others in the JVC lineup have USB front slots that can be used in conjuction with a SD card reader. Most of the others are behind the faceplate. There is also a DVD HU from JVC that has the USB port also.
