i still dont understand y you r going throgh all this work when you had the stero working before. do you want to explain this to me/use?

me+ipod+stock deck+ tape thingy to ipod= one less thing to bring into the house every night. what i'm getting at is if i have the stock deck in thier then i only have to bring the ipod in. but **** it i'll just put the stupid thing back in.

so if you had the clarion HU in you would have to bring

^ I believe hs is finding it easier to integrate the Ipod into his system with the factory deck because he can use a Cassette Adaptor *shudder*.

It is a little less straight forward with a CD player that does not have line-in.

Wouldnt he be just as well off getting an fm modulator and not uninstalling his stereo? The sound can't be that much different than a cassete adaptor.
