Red face Dual 10 daily system - pics/vids

Basically done my daily system. I picked up the two Beyond Audio X-ones from on here. Now unfortunately with the dual 2ohm input of these subs the only way to avoid frying my amp is to run them at 8 ohms in seris. I am running my zapco 750 mono bridged. I believe each sub would be getting about 70% of 350. These subs are rated 600rms so I am keeping it safe for sure.

I just got a 2004 Kia Rio. Cough. NEVER ever would have...... but I used to drive a 91 mazda truck - the difference is enormus and I actually do love my kia lol.

The box is around 3.5 cu ported.

Area of the port seems a little small...6x1.5?? That's only about 9-12 square inches, not very much for a 3.5 cube box...should be in the 36-50 cubic inch range to avoid port noise. Anyway, it looks well built, so good luck and if you don't hear any port noise, don't worry about it!

Yea I know none of them would work but the ones in my first post are proper now. I just kept getting 404s on youtube lol. My box is 'close enough', I used bass box pro and it is as close as I am going to end up getting the port doesnt make any noise so I do think its alright. its 6x2 btw.

Well it comes down to the fact that I really couldn't fit a much bigger port and according to all the specifications bass box pro thinks it will work. Whats gonna happen if I am starving them for air? It pounds and much better than I even expected it to off of the low power.

And with proper port area, it will 'pound' x2 as much

Will you stop being so blunt I had terrible specs on these subs and did what I thought would work do you have any input that would actually help rather than just telling me its too small cause theres not a lot I can do about that and if I do fix it it won't do much good without the right numbers to work from anyways.. Extinct subs with very little information...

Given that you were forced to wire the system at 8ohms, you're definitely not going to get anywhere near the output potential of the subs especially with the tiny port. The port size will maximize efficiency of the sub system so that the reduced power you're delivering will give the most output possible.
