Dynamat alternatives?

There is a brand new line out called "Hushmat" it is truely amazing the adhesive on it, unlike anything I have seen in 15 years, it will stick to oily surfaces...................go figure.........and way cheaper the Dynamat or Cascade.............

just went to Home Depot and they had a 5gal bucket of a product called Blue Seal, its a Waterproof rubber membrane. it seems pretty cheap($100 for the 5gal which will do 140sq feet) and you can brush or spray it on. it also expandes/contractes to heat/cold so i though that would be good for cars too.
has anyone used this stuff before, and had good results? and would it even work?
heres a site all about it:
