Ebay dilemma
#12
Damn, yea eBay has scammers on both sides, buyers and sellers....
1 month later is substantial time, but maybe he’s a kid who’s been saving for a set of subs and finally got em..
Go with your gut feeling. If you think there may be something wrong with the amp, fire the 50% over to him.
If the shop that tested is reputable and gave you a printout out on the health of the amp, then i would scan it and send it to the guy, say sorry outta luck and maybe have him contact them…..
Me personally, i rather be taken than be a scammer. Though it sucks, i can wake up in the morning and not feel like a piece of crap.
Again, like anything you have to assess it and go with how you’re feeling. Its only $60 bucks, not the end of the world and maybe you truly are doing the right thing.
On EBay ive had a guy try to scam me. Over a $6 battery for a cell phone.. Was unreal, 70 positive feedbacks and 1 negative now. I sold the phone for $18 ca.

Honestly, I would tell this guy to pound sand.. A month is way too long to be considering any kind of refunds on electronic gear.. There's no way of knowing what has been done, you have no idea about his installation skills, and there's no way of knowing what his REAL motives are, other than taking his word for it, and I think we all know that there are quite a few dishonest people running loose on eBay.. I would not feel any guilt whatsoever about calling the deal long done.. If he's a stand-up guy, he should understand this as well.. He's paid, tested it, said it worked fine, therefore everyone has done what's expected.. Case closed..
