Eclipse CD5030 USB Question

I just finished installing this deck and it sounds much better than the sound unit it replaced. Anyway, I got my phones synced up, my iPod plays through the deck but when I connect my usb stick it just shows USB on the screen but does access any of the music on it.

Do the folder have to arranged in a specific way or am I missing something?

2 things I would try

reformat the drive and copy only one mp3 to the root, if that work add some folders and test again.

if the reformat didn't work try a different stick 256mb, 1GB... whatever you have
