eD subs magnet mass

Question

I e-mailed a question to eD's tech support...What are the masses of the magnets on their subs, particularly the 13kv2 and 13 ov2 and what type of magnet? answer 14-28 lbs and ferrite.
We're talking about 224-448 oz magnets here...are these correct numbers? Anyone own these and can verify?

The size of the magnet dosent necassarily mean anything...

Id assume they are strontium ferrite which is pretty standard...

just curious since they don't appear to be that big. I really have no reason to doubt them, just seems awfully big compared to the photos. They are supposed ferrite according to them. Need to know cause more info is always better than less.
