from what I heard didn't Energy just liscense the name out to a chinese manufacturer, and has nothing beyond that to do with the car audio? Not that that makes it bad, just not saying it's guaranteed to be as good as there home speakers, which sound amazing

My brother in law has a full energy system, component set, 6x9's and 2 10's. Beautiful system. Crystal clear, I believe the Energy line is made by Klipsch. Not that any of this info will help you at all,but I'd give energy a big thumbs up, I plan on using energy gear on my next install.

hmmm well if Energy truly is made by Klipsche, its prob a pretty reputable product then. Not that I condone leasing out ones brand name, but atleast it didn't go to a low quality builder

put lots of power to them and they will sing even better ( 150 watts rms per channel )

and ya get your box custom made. the extra mile will do the whole world to those subs. btw i work there too lol as the installer.

i have a pair of 6.5 components in my civic doors, powered by a bridged 4 channel clarion, about 120 rms per channel...
the tweets are a tad bright for me, but overall I'm very happy with the sound. And this even before I've deadened my doors.

what i don't get is, while they are obviously a quality product, why so little info and promotion?
you'd think with this level of care in production, someone would have an interest in promoting them. They deserve to be more recognized and legitimized. Odd business plan.

^ meh, maybe. Basically FS wanted a good sounding speaker that they have exclusive rights to and most often, in that sales environment, nobody is going to look too closely at the technical details

I'm just happy these actually DO sound decent compared to the Quest experiment of a few years back :barf:

if you find the thiele small let me cause we got 2 waiting for boxes as well. We had them in a box that was almost 5 cu and they sounded great but we sold the box and now we're going to split them up but lost the stats and can't remember where we got them from!
