ok, I basically am not too familiar with eq's, and if i get one it will probably be a low level unit cause I don't have the $$$ for a 30 band eq. but is it worth it to buy a 5 band? i've looked at this one online and I really don't know whether its worth the money or not. can someone help me out here please. my price range is about $200 taxes incl. and if that can't buy a decent eq then i won't bother.

unless you are competing I see no need for one .........with proper crossover and level setting most systems sound good .......save your money [img]smile.gif[/img]

If I had the money I would get one.. 5 bands is enough for a daily driver.. but what I like is that its got a built in line driver.. you can barely get a stand alone line driver for that price.

For that $150CAN you can buy a way better unit on EBAY, ie Alpine 3401/3402 come up all the time. Same with Audio Control's EQL.

5 band graphic EQs aren't worth it IMO.
