Fabricating Remote Bass Control

Hi Guys,

I've got an Infinity 311a amplifier and I want to make my own remote bass level control. I believe the part # for the factory remote is 100rc. Does anyone have a pinout diagram of the RJ-11 jack that is on the amp? Or can someone give me some advice as to how I can test for the "required connections"... whatever they may be. Most bass level controls consist of a simple potentiometer correct? Is there more to it than that? Any input at all would be greatly appreciated.

you could always de-solder the bass control off the amp and run wires to your console or where ever

you could buy one, reverse engineer it, and take it back, but really they aren't that expensive...

This is for the Phoenix gold one (LPL44), but might help.
