I love reading this kind of stuff..

Let me see.... Guys buys amp at pawn shop(because he is a cheap ***?)Amp doesnt work?(correct so far?)

Sends amp back to Gemsen( who is a distributor that supports retail sales in canada). Who knows why they even looked at the amp in the first place without a bill of sale is beyond me!!!!

Know Gemsen pulls a miricle out of there *** and replaces an amp for you at there cost( When they should have told you to go **** off. )

And you come on this site and tell everyone that your going to sell it???

You are a dumb ***... The proper thing to do is come back on this site thank Dave for his wonderfull help in replacing the amp and keep your mouth shut about everything else.

As far as Gemsen goes "Good service!!" but your replacing and amp that was not purchased from a retail outlet and you are giving customer service to a mole that buys his products from the internet? a guy who doesnt in any way support the industry??

hmmmmm

Cheers to the service but he deserves a kick in the ***

I find it amazing that after slagging the company publicly for YOUR mistake(buying a used, broken amp from a pawn shop) and then having a rep of Gemsen take care of you, above and beyond the call of duty for him or his company, you would try to sell the new amp. Not only do I hope you get screwed on the sale, I hope you have nothing but problems with your new amp. ****ing Loser.

I am disapppointed that he wont be able to enjoy his Kicker product considering the extra effort and costs incurred. The goal was to make a Kicker customer happy in order to keep him as a Kicker customer. Hopefully he'll reconsider by the time we send out his new amp.

<!!! Begin Shameless Plug !!!>
Service is a very important part of our company. We know that there are tons of other companies out there and we don't want to give anybody a reason to have to go elsewhere. Ocassionally mistakes or misunderstandings occur. We try to keep everyone happy some way or another even if it means sending them a T-shirt or some other small token. Believe me, it'd be way easier for me not to get involved sometimes (I've got a stress headache right at this minute to prove it) but times are tough and everyone is important if we want to still have jobs to go to years from now.
<!!! End Shameless Plug !!!>

Without sounding cornier I really meant every word I said above, if I didnt care or love my job I wouldnt be here nor would I have our company contribute to this forum in some small way by means of a banner ad. There are other contributors and industry members who are on this site who feel the same way I'm sure. Hopefully in the end you keep all of us in mind the next time you shop for gear.

Support the people who support you.

That's the best line I've heard in a while.. Too bad people have a tendency to ignore the people who help them for what seems like a better deal, but in the end it's not.

exactly dave, but it goes both ways. If this obviously isnt going to support kicker or gemsen, why should kicker or gemsen support him?

LOL, If you got some old PPI, Xtant, Redline and MB Quart feel free to send those back to us too.

To this day I still find junk like DIN to Y adaptors and Power and speaker molex's for PPI, a roll of Xtant copper mesh that was inside the amp shrouds, an OZ 100 and OZ 130... SHould start up a little museum of some sort.
