i used to have the SAE-1000D powering my 2 ICON (500w each). Now i have the 1500D and i have the feeling they can take more so the 1000D for one is definitively a good match

yes always do the big3

Well for me it's the big2, i only did the ground since when i tested with the alt>bat there was no improvement. it's a mess under the hood so why keep the extra wire if there's no use for it...

I was talking to my fronds the other day and they said that with the icon suB and the sundown amp, that the amp will be putting out 1800w to the sub if I wire it dual 2 ohm. Now the suB I believe yu can get in a single duAL voic coil or a double dual voice coil. How should I be wiring up the sub and amp. Because obviously there is more than one way. I just don't need all that power. I just don't wanna screw anything ip and have the bet possible sound for the setup. also the amp says it uses zero gauge wire, do I need to have that big of a wire? Or can I use like a 2gauge? Please help

Always feed an amp the recommended wire and appropriate fusing. My amp runs two 4ga power and grounds, but I run 2/0ga up to it then split off to double 4ga.

And I think you mean 1ohm dual voice coil or 2ohm dual voice coils.....
