Getting a new car...

...next year... I know, getting a little ahead of myself But I like to plan ahead!!!

So anyway, I'm looking at getting a Silver Suzuki SX4 (leaning towards a JX)

I need to decide on what speakers to upgrade the stock units to. Right now I'm thinking 5.25" mids with seperate 1" tweets front and rear from MTX, Dynaudio or Infiniti (the SX4 already has spots for them). Powered by an Alpine amp running in-line with the stock head unit. I'll have to have a better look at the interior so see what in the way of subs and an additional Alpine amp I can fit in as I don't really want to fill the hatch with a sub box.

Anybody have suggestions for speaker or amp brands/models? I've always been a big Alpine fan, love their sound quality but I'm open to suggestions if someone feels I can do better. The amp I'm currently looking at is this one:

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.

Thinking of using a second one bridged to 2x350W to power a couple 8" subs (if I can find a spot for the 8's). Likely put the two amps under the two front seats.

Next question would be where to buy/install them in the lower mainland of BC. I've always had good luck with equipment and service from A&B Sound locally but again I'm open for suggestions.

So you know where I'm coming from, I currently have a 91 Civic SI HB with MTX 2 ways up front, Pioneer 6"x9" rear powered by an older (40x4?) Alpine amp and Clarion CDP/deck. (Used to have an Alpine deck that I LOVED but went on the fritz after 7'ish years and Clarion was what was on sale when replacement came due ) I've got a 12" Xtant sub in a sealed box (can't remember amp though....?)

I'm hoping by the time I'm ready to buy in ~14 months that they have a sportier version out based on this bad boy too!

Nobody has any brand/model advice....? I'd be particularly interested to hear some reccomendationds for local dealer/installers out West here to check out. It's been nearly a decade since I did any major car audio work so I'm a bit out of the loop here.

Thanks guys
