in the end it all boild down to lifespan to me. I like the features within this deck but how long it will last WITH those features is important. i've never dealt with panasonic before...i just wanted to know how long it would last.

IMO none of the major name brands builds junk these days
most important should be how well the unit interfaces with you, go play with it ........ is it easy enough for you to use, do you like how it looks, ect.....
remember you have to look at and use your head unit every day, little pet peeves can become big problems after a while
