hey guys, if youve been folowing any of my posts, you'll know im really new to this stuff...

is this sub a good match for my audiobahn A8002T?

i think there are better subs... the box is really what you should be lookin at tho.

ok, because the guy at the audio shop im going to, to install it, has recommended the infinity 120.3se in a very, very nice bassworks box.

the box is a 12" ported, and some nice shiny black plastic i believe on the front...it looks awesome...

but what do you think about that combo?

if your ok with buying off the web, then look into ID subs, i havent played with them, but i hear they get loud with min. power.

yeah Bassworx boxes do look nice, and although their website shows the internal volumes, etc. i dont believe it shows the freq they are tuned to.. not hard to correct if it's not slot-ported though. i agree though, i wish i could make a box look as nice as they do.. but you probably have to look around for a sub that the prefab box would be ideal for... IMO.

ya it should be ok.

what you should do is go out and listen to as many subs as you can with the amount of power you have hooked up to the sub. then see if you like ported or sealed boxes too.
