Hey Jordy, have you considered speaking to the owner/manager or whomever it is in charge of the Park N Ride to suggest they hire some security? Or a means of security? It's pretty bad when they don't have anything remotely like that. (sorry if this is been said already)

The lots are owned by the local transit authority "OC Transpo". They're a penny pinching company and have no interest in investing money without making a return. Their solution is to post a sign at the entrance saying something to the effect of "Park at your own risk." Initially they used to have a guy sitting in a booth but I guess paying him $7.50 @ hour was too much for OC Transpo to stay in business so they got rid of them all. Good idea but its not going to happen.

Somewhere I've seen a picture posted of an flashy looking Integra up on blocks & "rim-less" at WonderLand's parking lot. And that lot HAS security so its not always going to discourage a determined theif.

</font>[/QUOTE]That really sucks, things like this wouldn't happen if they wouldn't be so much on penny pushing... Around this area they even have security companies that just drive around in the company car and patrol areas but even they can't be there 24/7...

I would say that they should invest in it as it would save us money but it puts out insurance companies who get to raise their rates when things like this happen (if I'm not mistaken, correct me if I'm wrong). BS though... They should have somethin even a camera or somethin, but as stated already if a theif wants somethin he's gonna take it regardless...

Also would mention suing them but as you mentioned they probably have the sign park at your own risk which covers their rear end... So either way SOL sadly...
