got some 6x9s for the rear of my car, but they don't have the same kind of hookup as my old ones, my car uses a little box device that lock on to the speakers, my new ones have just two prongs.

how are your guys speakers connected to your car, what should i do?

Cut off that connector, and hook up the wires and play some music. If the speaker is excursing in the reverse the wires, if its moving out then its fine.
