I did not know that but now i do and thats good. But now i have even more options when looking for a new amp now i need more help!
what do you guy's think would give me the most boom for the buck?

Well, at 1 ohm, you have many more options. As for one amp, look for the memphis 4kw... 2k per sub...

Make sure your car can handle that much power though.

 

I'd imagine 3kw per sub would be good, so you need 2 amps that are 3kw at half ohm, which is why I suggested 2500d's...

 

Only problem with those amps is that they're not strappable.

 

What about DD Z1's...?

 

2 x Sundown 1500D's strapped
1 or 2 RD RD3250.1D
1 or 2 RD RD5750.1D

Either of those at 1 ohm with a good electrical supply would be an idea

 

Or Sundown 3k's when they release shortly. They are strappable too, for 6k.

 

Yes sir, but if you are looking at Atomic amps they are the same build company as the Cactus, Sundown, RD and so on so all should yield the same results.

 

Will 2 2500watt amps draw more power than 1 5000watt amp?

 

Did U ever get a bigger amp for ur subs yet? I was looking at a 10" solo x considering how hard it is to get a 12". Right now I have a single 12" L7 in a crewcab dodge and I hit 143. But I play it all the time loud and for a long peirod of time and I keep burning them up.
