Help me build my system?

Hey guys, brand spankin new here... first post.

Lil intro:
From Kamloops BC, driving a 2011 TRD Sport Tacoma doublecab. Not a huge fan of the stock audio in it, and have already bought and installed a JVC HU with bluetooth.

What I'm looking for...
Wanting to go for SQ. I don't really care about massive bass and SPL metering to be honest.

I'm wanting to go with:
Front- Amped components (truck has OEM components so I wont have to build pods etc)
Rear- A nice set of coaxials, amped as well.

Sub- I don't have a whole lot of room to work with here (I will be building my own box and will most likely be looking for tips/tricks and insight when I get to that point).
Easiest option is to build a box for two shallow 10's and a separate amp rack, or a box for one 12 with an integrated amp rack (mayyybe)
A little more difficult, and would be a sweet project.. Four 8's under the back seat. There's a plastic storage compartment under there and it's doable if the compartment is removed, inside is glassed, and built from there.

What I have right now:
Head unit- JVC KD-A815 (three 5v preouts, bluetooth, usb/aux etc..)
Amp- Exile 250.1 (2-3 years old, lightly used)
Speakers- Alpine Type S 6.5" components (last years model and brand new)
Sub- One Kicker S8L5 that's about 4 years old.

Both front and rear OEM speakers are 6.5", and I will most likely be using my Type S components up front (since they're brand new...) unless you guys have a better suggestion.
I'd like to stay somewhat "underground" out of the mainstream companies. Surely you guys know what's up, and what the new(er) companies out there are, providing a great product.

Any suggestions guys?

Thanks,
Tanner

Are you looking to go active or passive on the comps?

Most SQ guys don't use full-range rear fill (or any rear-fill). Why do you want to go this route?

For a good SQ system I'd ditch the Type S comps. It doesn't cost much to find a very nice sounding 6.5" comp that will easily outperform them.

A sub under the rear seat would work fine. There's also a few Tacoma owners who've done a sub in the center armrest. Do a google search and I'm sure you'll find some info on them.

Doing a DIY front stage (or whole system) isn't too difficult as long as you do some research and pick the proper gear. Solen, Madisound, Partsexpress are great places to find DIY gear. Lot's of great sounding low price gear from major manufacturers if you change your mind.

Are you in need of any more EQ or time alignment options or are you satisfied with the JVC?

I had just fronts in my '90 Pathfinder, and didn't like it at all. They were 5.25" JBL components, amped lightly. The Tacoma is also a double cab and I often have passengers.

Roger that. Maybe move them to the rear if I can figure out a way to use the tweeter? Or maybe I'll just get rid of them altogether. They were bought to replace the 5.25" JBL components in my Pathfinder, after one of them took a dive. I no longer drive the Pathfinder (it's up on blocks, with suspension lift issues, and has been for a year).

The JVC seems to be working just fine in the setup that I have right now. Granted it's all OEM stuff, so I can't really expect much from it anyway. But it seems good right now.

In regards to active/passive components.. I'm not totally sure, to be honest.
