is this all i need to setup the system? and do i need an amp or anything else? and my car is an 96 Sunfire gt, how do i know if its all going to fit?

is 150$ a good price for this setup?

what are you trying to get out of your set up ?

 

x2, sony is not very good for speakers, and amps up until late. the new amps are cea compliant, so they actually do rated power. i have a 2002-2003 model sony amp that is rated at 900rms at 2ohm. i can barely squeeze 350rms out of it without clipping. in a close price range, go for some pioneer speakers. they are much better sounding imo, and most likely better built.

 

i am running sony 3ways in my doors 6.5 and 6x9 and man do they come alive when you amp them yes you have a good start and yes you should amp them but they will sound ok for now

 

Almost ANY speaker will come alive when you amp it!!!

Get the amp if you can... If it isn't too late, you may be happier in the long run with Pioneers or Alpine but it's not the end of the world.

youre gonna need some adapter rings to fit those 6.5s in the door,oe speakers are 4x6,u can get them from a shop or make youre own outta 1/2 mdf.

 

It will sound like an incomplete system.

You need an amp for the 4 speakers and you need a sub and sub amp, box for the sub. etc., etc., etc.
