err... he didn't get banned because of his name. Remember there are 2 sides to every story.

He was explained the rules about vendors and people posting with their business names (which is also explained in the TOS when he signed up)

So the owner of the site asked him to change his name... at which point Sean basically pulled the "do you know who I am?!" card and refused to accept the name change.

After a bit of a back-and-forth he continued to push the issue and not follow the board rules so THEN he was banned.

We aren't unreasonable here and to ban someone JUST because of their ID is crazy.

 

Actually!!! I talked to Sean this afternoon (and he forwrded me the e-mails). Not exactly what happened. From what I read, he was given 2 "warning points" (sounds like crap to me but what ever). Then when he asked about why he had to change his name (and time spent talking between Greg and Rick), Greg terminated his account. I can even post the entire conversation here if you like. Sean said he would have any issues with it! lol. If your going to lie about the story at least get some of it correct.

 

So let me get this straight... you had a conversation with yourself and then your forwarded yourself an email?

If you actually spent some time on the site you'd see we have ways of seeing when people have multiple accounts.

So yeah... this account is now banned as well. Make another account and we'll just ban your IP
