I Need Good 6 1/2 Components!

hey,

i am gettin my system set up,and all i need is my front components.i am looking for some good ones at a price range of $200.i will be listening mostly to rap and techno,i have 2 12" type r subs and i want a pair of comp speakers that will sound good and not get drowned by the bass from my subs.i will be running the comps off of an external amp.

what can i get with good SQ for around 200$?????

thanks.

its a PYRAMID PB-270G...dude its freakin oldskool....and i found out today its a 2 channel amp so im kinda in a jam right now...i cant afford a new amp right now so im thinking of running my comps off the deck which puts out 22rms x 4...can i cut that in half a give my comps 44rms x 2???? and then run my coaxel's off that 2 channel amp, seeing how its already installed and conected to the rears.kind of a weird situation id say lol.
i also went to certified radio today and they reccomended HERTZ speakers model #Ecx 1652..they sounded ok,i just never heard of hertz...have u guys?

Those appear to be coaxials, not components.

As for amp, you cannot bridge your deck, and you would either be better off putting the amp on the components then the coax's.

Run the amp to your component speakers. Run the deck power to the coax speakers. Coax speakers are generally more efficient as compared to component type speakers. That said the speakers you listed below as a ECX1652 appear to be a coax speaker that retails for $179.99. The component version ESK165 retail for $249.99.

I can recommend the JBL GTO607C component speakers as well, price on them is $230.00 to your door. They are a 2 ohm speaker and with your amplifier, will deliver some great results. The boys here on the military base seem to really like these speakers.
