Installation gone wrong?

well man if it makes you feel any better,many years ago a "professional" installer moved from the east to vic. bc. he boasted of his greatness of install ablility, and did a fine install in the back of a porsche 944.shortly there after the fuel gauge stopped working. the repair shop had a hell of a time getting the gastank out on account of the 13 long #8 screws railed into it from above. iguess this installer really wanted thoses amps to stay put. he promtly moved back east again. remember this:somebody has always f`ed up worse than you. save up for a decent amp, and keep at it.

^thats hiliarios. The guy that did mine, started drilling a hole in teh door for a new set of mounting holes, little did he realize, that his bracket put the holes wehre the window would be when its down. It was down while he was drilling But, he fixed all damage free of charge

hey , im back, dude. stop.stop.stop. just read your other post."panzi(amps in series)" for the love of large breasted women STOP!! enjoy the the story but please don`t keep at it. please tell me you have a fuse under the hood @ the battery and the power wire isnt running through the passenger door hinge and coiled up under the seat!

I am just starting on installation of systems, I thought the gas tank was closer to the front of the car but anyway I fixed it with some silicone since the guy at the store didnt want to weld it to close the holes. wanted to sell me a new tank... anyway now i have the problem that i need to install these amps somewhere or just leave them unattached? roads are kind of bumpy here, might be hard on the things...

there is one more thing that i think u can look at other than what is listed above. check to see what the actual voltage is at the amps. it should be at least. 12v or the protection sercutry in the amp will not work like it should. this can cause quite a few problems. like if the voltage is droppong the amp will produce more current internaly but doesn't have the voltage to drive the speakers and also the amp doesn't no that it is over loading it's self because the voltage is not present that would indicate such a problem to the amp.
what u need to look at is resistace of grounds and properconestions on the amps. so all i can say without seeing it is have a real good look and get out your multi-meter. have fun!
