We use this stuff at work all the time (methlyene chloride aka MC) use a respirator and rubber gloves. we use the MC in a syringe. Be sure to grind off the tip of your needle because if you poke yourself with the MC you won't last 10 mins. Also make sure that you get all the air bubbles out of the syringe, so that the MC won't run out. hope that this helps if you choose to do it this way.

I've seen it at Industrial Plastics and Paint, Plastic Works, and even Fibretek. Anywhere that sells plexiglas or plastics will have it or can get it easily.

BTW MC will interact to a point with acrylic and may make it brittle, some guys used MC to remove alkyd paint off a light cover and afterwards the plexi was extremely brittle. I don’t know whether it was the paint or the paint remover that caused the brittleness. I did some research on this and the MC was ‘blamed’ by the plexi manufacturer. Still hearsay but I am throwing it out there.
