Yulis got a point. I agree. I personally hate the jl speakers but love there subwoofer line! you should deffinatly check out different speakers first, your best bet is to try them out everyones ears are different. Im not saying jl speakers are , i personally have found better ones.
Are you saying that because their tweeters tend to rip your head off and make your ears bleed?

I tried looking for this amp as well. Apparently, it doesn't exist yet. Is it a mew model they haven't listed on their website yet? In general, JL amps tend to be low output compared to different brands. Of all the 4 channel amps they've listed on their site, including discontinued, the highest wattage was 600W.
How do you plan to implement this new 4 channel you're talking about? Run the fronts, and bridge the rear channels to power your subs? The top of the line 6.5" JL speakers have an RMS of 85W, lesser models have lower RMS ratings. I hope that this amp is 4 x 100W @ 4 ohm.
Aside from all my babbling, the JL's will be decent. I would leave the Kicker's alone if they're doing the trick for you. A pair of 12" should provide a lot of bass. What do you have powering these subs, currently?
