The last time I did an install in a Dodge Shadow it consisted of:
Pioneer DEX-P1
Phoenix Gold PLD-1
Phoenix Gold EQ-215ix
Phoenix Gold ZPA0.5
Phoenix Gold ZX350 x2
Phoenix Gold ZCS6 x2
Phoenix Gold XMAX12 x4
This of course has nothing to do with your question I just like to reminisce and I really didn't enjoy trying to stuff all that gear into a Shadow.

Hey man, welcome, I as wells am in the alberta area but it's calgary as the city.
As dogstar already stated there is a few guys on the board already that only run a front stage and sub, and for me, that's what i do as well but i'm back to the drawing board for the setup. But I was just gonna reccomend that in that case if you wanted to go with simiplicity on an amplifer you could look at 3-channel ones that are perfect for the front speakers and sub. Also dependent what size of speakers you need in your car, you could probably always find a great deal with the guys here.
