I painted on about three coats of X-Terminator on the outside panels of my doors. Then went over that with some Brown Bread. Not really sure, but there's still a lot of road noise coming into the cabin, seeming to come from the doors. Was planning to paint the rest of the X-Terminator stuff in the wheel wells to see if that helped.

 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Xterminator is water based.

Cleans up very easily (before it has dried of course) and is apparently non-toxic.

 

Looks like the EdeadV3 could find a home in my SQ car... 'specially since the dollar is high, and Xterminator (which I really like) is so darn expensive.

Well, I have no experience with these liquid deadeners, but I think I have a good gameplan for the future...

A buddy of mine runs "Armadillo Coatings" here in Calgary. That's that liquid truck bedliner stuff. He's done boats, trucks, insides of cargo vans, etc. etc. etc.

If I prepped my van myself, I'm sure he could spray it for a reasonable cost... He might even have a deadener additive, dunno, I've never asked him... But I have seen a cargo van they sprayed inside... The walls were like rock...
