I believe the Kenwoods will do multi-channel DVD-Audio, but I'm not too sure.

CRAP....

so i went and looked at the deck, only place i could find that had them was visions, and i was pretty impressed overall! Really liked the deck, selling for about $1550 i think (negotiable).

It was done deal in my head, just had to wait for income tax and bonus season in about a months time.

Then i got back in to my jeep and saw this:

Thats the best pic i can find of my interior, i've got a thing so it's only single din i just realized, but essentially the same. Found out the top overhangs a couple inches i assume to cut sunlight out. Does this mean i'm screwed??? Or you expert installer peoples, any ideas/suggetions on what a person could do to get around something like this? I realllllllllllly like the screen idea now and i'm not positive i can go away from it...least not happily.

On a plus note, i just noticed the IVA-W200
so i'm pretty happy, except that it's like a march release...arg....wait no, i only have a 1.5" din...apparenlty none of these will work...and now i'm going to snap!!!

I used to have a '94 Grand Cherokee Limited with an Alpine CVA-1005 in it as I was able to swap the radio location with the climate control. The problem you might have if you attempt to do the same is that the Limited model had electronics climate controls while yours is mechanical.
The other problem is that the Alpine "brain" is so massive that it's hard to find a spot for it. I had mine under the passenger seat but it affected the travel of the power seat mechanism as well as it stuck out a little towards the back.
If you can make the dash swap work, it's pretty cool. Good luck!
