have you done the big three? what size power + ground wire? is your chassis ground up to par?

LOL I wont get on yulis *** tonight, I had my say at him b4, he is very knowledgeable, and from what I hear helpful, seems to either be asking the right questions, or being in person with him I figure. But anyway, this place is for people to learn, why should someone go out and waste a pile of money when they can come one here and get help??
I say first off, do the BIG3
second- get a good battery
third, runs of 0 always good
U also should look into better alt, I run my stock 85amp, and iot holds alright, but the bigger the better LOL.

I was the first person to post. I said get a good battery IE: A red top.

95% guarantee thats his problem, the other 5% is big 3 or too small gauge wire/bad connection somewhere.

First off I would start by saying a good battery will help .
as well as the Big three , Your stock Alt isn't all that great , I'm guessing around 80 to 90 amps. check it's around 70amps
Next thing How many amps total in your system.
How far is your amp from your battery.
I understand that your still learning the hobby as am I .
But I don't like it when people just jump in with both feet and say do battery , alt big 3 run 0ga wire.
looking at your other post and this post you have two subs and a class D sub amp right ?
I know my car I ran 4ga from the battery to the rear of the car , where from distro block is located . and from there to my amps.
I run a ground Block 10" from the amps and it's grounded with in another 10"
ground wire being the same size as the power.I did the Big three with 8ga wire.my total out put is some where around 1800watts and yes It does hit hard and no my voltage never drops below 12V normal is 12.5v

with all that being said with not knowing the total output of your system it's a guessing game . (to me anyways)
With that said , if you put your red top in and you have an alt that is only putting put 70amps that doesn't leave alot of amps left over to fill the void .high ga wire will help if done everywhere.make sure connections are good . shorter the cable runs less power loss too.

,,,

of course the cheapestg solution to the problem would be to sell your amp to some schmuck who thinks JL audio is the and then spend your earnings on a descent amp that doesn't protect at 11volts. Hell you would probobly make money and get a better amp while you are at it.

0/2 is overkill just use 4ga or 0/1.

Don't listen to these kids telling you to get a bigger alt, they don't even understand how an alternator works and that its you're battery that sucks not the alternator.
