I have a dual 2 ohm sub
I first hooked it up at one ohm, it's supposed to be one ohm stable.
Nothing, ok, that's weird, then hooked it up at 4 ohm, again, nothing....ok...wtf?
Then on one coil at 2 ohms....guess what nothing again?
Explain how I could've blown the amp when right afterwards I tired the same thing with 2 kenwood amps (minues the one ohm) and it worked perfectly.

What to lock the thread? Can't admit you sold me a bad amp?
It's nice to know there's people like that on this board.

Dave, when will you have the 3rd CAE unit hooked up? I"m kind of curious about a "big amp".

I'm just curious as to how much power the avg. 1000BD puts out at 1 ohm.... I know its not rated to do this, although I have been running mine at 1 ohm for quite awhile with out many heat issues! Does the power change at this low of an impedance on this amp? I would start a new thread, but since the topic was brought up, I figured I may as well try here!

Dave, I don't see a hammer on there. What kind of a test bench is it anyway?

Jeeze...

Ya, either that or the outputs....

Anyway.... I was fairly certain that a non true RMS meter was still accurate with sine at ANY frequency...... don't see why they wouldn't be....
