Heh, heh.. If you saw the old one, there was way to mutch other stuff on it to allow me to pound on the amp. I did buy a rubber mallet when I bough the house though, so I'll add that to the PAS test procedure, though I doubt I'll be allowed to print it if an amp fails that test... hahaha... (wait, that's not funny )...
99Altima, bring it over man, I'll check it out for ya!

Dave, just in response to your post in regards to my post, about the link to the Concept web site, thatnks for letting me know that I wasn't aware about the specifics of the test, I had just come across that site and found that around the same time I read the original post, keep up the good work with the mag, and maybe you could swing me a free sub. !!!! w00t!! Free Sub? But then how do I get paid?? hahaha. Call the office anytime, ask for the subs department and tell them I sent ya and ya want a year for $15.00 They'll do it...
I'm not knocking Concepts outline, it WILL work, but you are involving a little trial and error in the plan to read 'the highest number' from the meter.. if you are going to go to all the effort, you may as well get an accurate number.

For the mere $25.00, I will print up a test sheet, jot down a few notes, observations, etc..
If you want a full-blown review of the amp, like I do for PAS, that can be arranged as well, but it's gonna cost more. PM me with what you want, I'll deliver. (I can offer almost anything, including high-resolution photography)

Kind of related to these posts but I just tested my amps output with a fluke multimeter. First tested the voltage, I was kinda shocked to see 14.2-14.6 while driving, then current, which was 91.4. Turned out my amp was putting out 1297.88. Don't know how accurate it is but it was fun to try Only problem was with fluctuating current when playing regular music, test tones worked a little better though.
