mecp books didnt come

And a lot of the time the person on the other end doesn't exactly hang up the phone or read your email and then go grab your order and send it...
UPS standard freight cross country will take about 5 working days. I get stuff regularly from the western US and USPS is 4 days for sure.

i got 2 different books.
one was the first class installer study guide with the black cover and than the other one was just called study guide 2nd edition, it has a blue cover with some people on it.
they are both quite good books but they both have relativly the same info in them both. the 2nd edition book has more stuff in it than the other one, including sub box enclosures but it dosnt have as much info about basic electronics.
and yes i think its worth buying the book. if you go to 12volt.com it is basicly the same as the book except much mroe simplified. i think that the book gives you more in depth information and if your giong to be taking the mecp test than its a good idea.

just thought i'd post an email of a friend of mine that's at mobile dynamics as we speak. he's at the school in phoenix. he has soe interesting things to say just to give you a heads up about MD
what up guys ,well its almost friday and you know what that mean, it time for beer. yeah i think its about time to check out the night life here. me and a bunch of guys are going to find out were all the hot spots are. we have heard of a few places that are suppose to be pretty cool, at least thats what our teachers said but they really cool so we trust there suggestions. today we took the first MECP test, thats the certificaion well get when iam done. they said that it was tough and it wasn't bad, its suppose to be a practice for the real thing in three weeks.i didn't have to much trouble with it, some stuff i knew others i didn't, its no big deal. well get the test back and well go over it in class so everone knows what going on.on friday we start the 2a(acoustics) section everything after this is what we will be tested on for the remaining tests, and that will be the end of my first week. then there's only 7 weeks left until a can wax my snowboard and get ready for winter. i cant get over how cool the teachers are, they hang out with us on break and play pool or foosball. its alot easier to talk to them when they are as goofy as we all are. when were in the class room we get breaks every 50 minutes, but when were learning stuf that 50 feels like only 5 minutes. its really cool too, because i want to learn what he is teaching and iam not bored at all. over all its been a good week lots of fun and lots to learn. well i had better go now my time is up at the computer, but if you want to see whats going on at the school they put up pictures every week on the web site. www.mobiledynamics.com

thats cool, glad he is enjoying it. i wonder if the toronto MD is relativly the same type of atmosphere as the MD in pheonix where hes at. guess ill find out when i go hopfully sometime around next march [img]smile.gif[/img]

its not the silver edition.
i got the first 2 books on this page.

there both relativly the same though but i ordered both for the hell of it. i would suggest ordering the study guide second edition, its got more information in it than the basic installer study guide.
