hey all

I am new to the forum but not to audio I am just stumped on this one. This is the deal....

subs were kicking in and out wasn't sure why so I started to go though and check everything, replaced the ground, checked the wiring for everything in the box, checked the rca lines, checked the remote like and everything seems ok the only problem that I found was that my 2 channel for my 6x9s had a bad remote terminal so I just ran a small line from the power terminal to get it going.

No matter what I do i can't seem to get it going I have tried to switch decks and that didn't help and now to top it all off my deck will not run for more then about 20 mins before it dies on me.

my stuff is older then most (2000) but it was all working just fine until about 3 days ago it just died.

wtf I am usually pretty good but this just has me stumped.

any help?

 

Yeah I hate when that happens. You just gotta go back and recheck the wiring again. Can't tell you how many times I thought I got it right, but I messed up the wiring upon rechecking. Just take it easy and do a recheck.
