That might explain it, I do have license plate covers on the car.

 

I went out to Canadian Tire and bough some of those felt tab things that you would put on the legs of chairs and everything. You can get some pretty big strips of it for only a few bucks. I covered the back of my License Plate on the sides and then just really tightened it down with 4 screws instead of the normal 2.

For the trunk, there are only certain places where my trunk lid would rattle; it was always about 2 inches on each side of the rubber stoppers they used.

Only cost me like eight bucks.
