And before you reply, I have never seen my amps in a shop so I would not consider them "mainstream". They're not big money either. The difference is, they're not crap.
One does not have to spend all their money on audio, but they should spend it wisely or they will spend it twice.

As long as equipment be it inexpensive or really expensive is installed and fed properly you don't have to replace it and "crap" is in the eye of the beholder. Every piece of equipment can fail period. Also what amps are you running? Im curious to what amps arn't "Big Money" that you are running?
